When you use Showroom, we store:

• Account info: Email address (via authentication provider)
• Gallery data: Gallery names, descriptions, and membership records
• File content: Uploaded HTML files and metadata (title, filename, size)
• Collaboration data: Comments, member invitations, and role assignments
• Usage preferences: License status and cookie consent (stored in your browser's localStorage)

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the gallery hosting and preview service
• To enable team collaboration (invitations, comments, shared access)
• To sync your galleries across devices
• To process payments via Polar

We do not sell your data or share your gallery contents with third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google AdSense: Ads shown to free users (with cookie consent). Subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Polar: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• Supabase: Secure database hosting for your gallery data

5. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (session management) and, with your consent, for Google AdSense advertising. You can accept or reject advertising cookies via the cookie consent banner. Essential cookies for authentication cannot be disabled.

6. Data Security

Your gallery data is stored securely in our database. All connections use HTTPS encryption. Backend access uses service-role authentication — your data is not publicly accessible. Shared gallery links allow view-only access; editing requires sign-in.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Free galleries expire after 30 days of inactivity. You can request data export or deletion by contacting [email protected]. Upon account deletion, all gallery data is permanently removed.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)
